Art 4 Life

I am an illustrator, turned painter....

As a small child, I would sit and draw for hours, making up stories in my head and illustrating them as I went along, but as I grew up, the stories got less and less. I guess as an adult, you throw out childish things, such as the stories, or so they say...but the imagination was still there....and then, one day, at the age of 7, I was taken to an art museum by my grandmother, my life changed forever at that moment, ..the artwork was amazing, I think I fell in love... I could have stayed there forever, lost in the pictures....it was then, that I knew what I wanted, I wanted to paint, I wanted to be an artist.....my art may not be as good as those whom I marveled at, as a child, at that museum, but it keeps me connected with the wonder and imagination I felt as a child,  and so I do it to be happy.

I live in the mountains, the Ozark mountains actually... I am fairly secluded, and find myself with alot of free time. So I draw, paint, and do alot of trail riding on my horse, and basically just fool around here with all my animals. I like to be surrounded by animals, they dont judge you, they always greet you with love, and always keep your secrets... I have dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and an occasional spring orphan from the surrounding forest...if you want to see what my life is really like, start at Chapter 1, A day in the life of a woman, stuck in the woods, and continue to read~hope you get a few chuckles out of it...
